1. Export the raw CSV from Toggl
Export your history from Toggl as CSV without editing columns or reformatting dates. aravo expects the standard shape with client, project, description, start date, start time, end date, and end time.
2. Import the file in Settings
Open Settings, go to the migration section, and choose Toggl as the source platform. Then upload the raw CSV without modifying it.
3. Review the preview before confirming
Before inserting anything, aravo shows a row-by-row preview so you can validate the whole migration.
- Rows that are valid for import
- Rows that are invalid because of structure or timings
- Existing clients and projects that will be reused
- New clients or projects that still need to be created
4. Use duplicate blocking to your advantage
aravo calculates a fingerprint using client, project, task, description, billable, tags, start, and end. If the file contains duplicated rows or you upload the same CSV again, the preview flags them before anything is written.
5. Export again from aravo
The same section also includes Toggl-compatible CSV export. You can filter by date range, client, or project and download a single file with the same base shape used by the import flow.
